NZS 3910:2023 - What Contractors Need to Know

The NZS 3910:2023 standard aims to provide a more collaborative and clearly defined allocation of risk than the 2013 version. For contractors, this means a more streamlined path into agreement, with risk that is better understood from the start. The revised standard also modernises and simplifies the language - making it more accessible to people who are not steeped in legal terminology.

Contractors must nominate a representative who is authorised to act on their behalf in contract matters. This person is confirmed either in the Specific Conditions or thereafter in writing to the Principal, Contract Administrator, and the Independent Certifier.
