Filling in the form

• Just click into any field and type - your answers save automatically to this browser as you go (you'll see a "Saved to this browser" note update near the top).

💾 Save Progress (to back up, save a version before coming back, or hand off to someone else)

• Click Save Progress in the top bar (or the button near the bottom of the page).

• A .json file will download to your computer’s downloads folder - this contains everything you've filled in so far.

• Upload this file to SharePoint, email it, or save it wherever your team keeps project files.
  

  
  
  

📤 Load Progress (to create a new version of a previous form, continue someone else's work, or resume on a different device)

• Click Load Progress.

• Select the .json file (e.g. from SharePoint or your downloads folder).

• Confirm when prompted - the form will fill in automatically with all the saved answers.

• ⚠️ This will overwrite whatever is currently on screen, so make sure you've saved your own progress first if needed. You can’t merge multiple files.
  
  

📄 Download PDF (once the form is ready to submit/share)

• Click Download PDF at any stage.

A formatted PDF copy of the SSSP you have filled out will download to your computer, ready to email, print, or upload. Remember to update the SSSP Version.

🗑️ Clear Saved Data (only if starting completely fresh)

• Click Clear saved data on this browser at the bottom of the page.

• This wipes what's stored in your browser - it does not delete any .json or PDF files you've already saved.

• Always Save Progress before closing the tab if you're not finished, especially if working across multiple sessions or devices.

• Works the same on PC or Mac - no special software needed, just a web browser.

• If two people are editing, only one should work on a copy at a time - loading a file overwrites the screen, so pass the latest .json along in sequence rather than editing at the same time.
